How do retirement living, assisisted living, board and care, Alzheimer’s / Dementia and skilled nursing homes differ?

Each one has different levels of care.

Starting from left to right, each living facility has an increased amount of care. Retirement with the least (or no care) to skilled nursing homes with a great deal of medical care.

How do I decide between all of the senior living options?
